Vitamin E production at DSM Swiss plant on hold for August
Next month will see DSM's vitamin E manufacturing facility in Switzerland close temporarily to allow a systems check.
From the end of July to the end of August, DSM said it is to suspend the production of vitamin E at its Sisseln-based plant for one month, as it performs annual plant maintenance.
The temporary shutdown should not hinder supply of the vitamin, with the animal and human nutrition company saying it is aiming to avoid any supply disruptions.
DSM said it "will honour all confirmed orders."
