Cargill’s Diamond V has hired a new aquaculture expert, Dr. Wee Kok Leong,
Dr Wee joined Cargill’s Diamond V as senior consultant, technical Services, Aqua. He has been in the aquaculture industry over 37 years and has been highly recognized by aqua industry peers and community, said Cargill.
His collective competencies lie in research and development of innovative products and new applications, feed and nutrition formulation, technical review, and training, added the company.
Wee holds an MSc in Aquaculture and Fishery Management and a PhD in Fish Nutrition, both from the University of Stirling, UK.
Prior to joining Diamond V, he was a university lecturer, academic supervisor, as well as a technical consultant for various universities and companies.
Sweden headquartered feed additive and specialty chemicals company, Perstorp, announced the appointment of Vilson Antonio Simon as VP in charge of its animal nutrition business in the Americas. He will report to Perstorp Animal Nutrition executive VP, Roger Mann.
Simon will be responsible for the sales and GTM strategies with Perstorp’s distributors and agents, as well as leading and developing the company's animal nutrition sales and technical teams in the Americas.
Simon holds degrees in veterinary medicine, general management and agroenergy. The last 15 years of his career saw him in management positions in companies such as Cargill, Phibro, Chr. Hansen and Kerry Group.

Kies Dekker has replaced Jeroen Wakkerman as chief financial officer (CFO) and member of the board of Nutreco NV.
Dekker had been senior vice president of finance for the last four years at SHV Holdings NV in Utrecht.
He joined SHV in 2007 as corporate internal auditor, moving to the role of senior business controller next at SHV Gas China in Guangzhou before being appointed CFO of SHV Gas China in Guangzhou a year later. In 2014, Dekker returned to the Netherlands to work at SHV Holdings in Utrecht as finance director and then taking on his more senior position.
Before joining SHV, he held positions at Arthur Andersen, UPC, Ahold and Liberty Global.

Norway's ScanBio Marine Group has recruited Eivind Saetre, sales lead at Mowi, as its chief sales officer, starting July,
The group is active in the production of functional fish protein and oil; it is present in various sectors such as animal nutrition, bioenergy, the chemical industry and fish farming services.
Saetre, writing in LinkedIn, noted:

Kemin Industries has appointed Patrick Wood as its chief financial officer (CFO).
Wood joined Kemin in 2013 as a senior accountant before becoming an accounting manager a year later. The following year, he was promoted to controller for Kemin Animal Nutrition and Health – North America, and in 2015 became finance director for the business unit. In 2018, Wood took on the position of VP of finance for Kemin Nutrisurance, the global pet food and rendering technologies business unit.
"Since joining Kemin, Pat has shown his exceptional aptitude for managing financial operations in a variety of business units and across international boundaries," said Dr Chris Nelson, President and CEO, Kemin Industries.
The company said Wood has contributed to Kemin's continued growth, leading multiple due diligence and acquisition teams domestically and internationally.
Serge Corneillie has been appointed CEO of ADM Animal Nutrition Vietnam-Cambodia. Corneillie was previously business development and technical manager for Japan, South Korea, and the aquaculture market in Asia at Cargill Diamond V.
Corneillie previously worked for Mowi and, from 2009 to 2016, he also held various roles in Asia for US headquartered animal health and nutrition player, Alltech.
