Exciting developments are underway at FeedNavigator; we proudly announce our inaugural Pet Food Digital Summit​. This cutting-edge event, set to broadcast on 5-6 March 2024, marks a significant milestone in the pet food industry.

The FeedNavigator Pet Food Digital Summit comprises four distinct sessions​ over two days:

  • Mining the Microbiome: Balance is Everything
  • Sustainable Sourcing: Limiting Pet Industry Impact on Ecosystems
  • Premium Categories: Does the Humanization Trend Still Have Legs?
  • Mitigating Safety: Challenges in Pet Food Manufacturing

Michael Bellingham, CEO, UK Pet Food​, will be part of our panel on pet food safety, focusing on new pet food formats. Joining the discussion on sustainable ingredient sourcing are Alice Tempel Costa, Technical Director, and Deputy Secretary General of FEDIAF​, and Caitlyn Dudas, Co-founder of the US-based Pet Sustainability Coalition​.

Adding a unique perspective, veterinary surgeon John Harvey from the Global Sustainability Institute​, the University of Exeter, will deliver a keynote presentation on the environmental impacts of pet food and strategies for lowering them.  

Alex Masters, Managing Director at Lincoln International and co-head of Lincoln’s Consumer Group, along with Nick McCoy, Co-Founder and Managing Director at Whipstitch Capital, join forces with Kate Vliestra, Director at Mintel Food & Drink, to forecast the evolution of the premium pet food category.

The event will also feature a startup elevator pitch section showcasing three pet microbiome focused firms: Doderm, Biome9, and Primal Health’s Teef for Life.
