Feed Navigator State of the Industry Survey – 2015 report
In June 2015, FeedNavigator conducted its very first ‘state of the industry’ survey. The key purpose of the poll was to gauge views on the current state of the global animal feed industry and identify the issues that are causing most concern.
FeedNavigator collated over 175 survey responses from feed industry professionals who form an integral part of the brand’s global readership.
Highlights from the survey:
- The top three major issues that impacted the global feed industry in 2014 were the Russian import ban, mycotoxin contamination and the EFSA feed additive re-evaluation process.
- Seventy-nine percent of survey respondents are optimistic about the future of their companies.
- A vast majority, 87% of respondents, unanimously agreed that greater traceability in the supply chain is needed
