New COO at plant derived additive producer
Delacon recently announced that it has appointed Michael Fischer as it new chief operating officer (COO).
In his function as COO, he reports to Delacon’s CEO, Markus Dedl, and oversees the areas of operations, finance, organizational development, as well as administration.
Fischer is based at Delacan’s hub in Engerwitzdorf, Austria. He joins that company following 25 years of experience gained in the food industry. He has been part of executive boards for 13 years, said the phytogenics producer.
In leading several business units, Fischer gained broad expertise in finance and controlling, business development and sales, brand and marketing, global expansions and export strategies, production and purchase, organizational changes, and corporate strategy. Most recently, he worked with the family-owned food company SPITZ as CEO for the bakery division.
His professional career is founded on his business administration studies at the University of Linz and he also has an MBA degree.
