New sustainability lead at Nevedi
Matz Beuchel has been appointed sustainable innovation program manager at the Dutch animal feed industry association, Nevedi.
That program sees the trade group collaborate on various climate, environment and raw material supply related projects with government and other stakeholders.
Beuchel, who was born in Germany and grew up in an agricultural environment, worked most recently as a senior animal protein analyst at Rabobank. He has a BSc and an MSc in management and economics, specializing in agricultural economics and rural policy, from Wageningen University.
Nevedi expects that Beuchel’s affinity with the agricultural sector and the knowledge and experience he acquired at Rabobank will support the association in its work on making animal production chains and the animal feed sector more sustainable.
